Postdocs:

What we offer:

(1) Annual salary package between 242,000-622,000 RMB (depending on fellowship application results) with additional welfare described in SJTU official website;

(2) Access to the hardware and software of the Lab;

(3) Strong mentoring for applications of Postdoc Fellowships, NSFC grants and other grants.

What we look for:

(1) A PhD degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., MAE, CS, etc.) obtained no more than three years;

(2) Capabilities of independent research demonstrated in the CV.

PhD Students:

The Zhiyuan Honor Program (致远荣誉计划): Exceptional undergraduate students are highly encouraged to apply for this honor direct entry PhD program. Successful applicants will secure a PhD studentship to work with the PI without quota limit from the PI side. Successful applicants will also be awarded the highest stipend for PhD students, along with travel funds for international conference/exchange. (Entry time: Fall semester. Duration: 5 years.)

Direct entry PhD program: Please contact the PI regarding the PhD studentship quota before official application. Only current undergraduate students can apply through this track. (Entry time: Fall semester. Duration: 5 years.)

Regular PhD program: Please contact the PI regarding the PhD studentship quota before official application. Only current / graduated MSc students can apply through this track. (Entry time: Fall or Spring semester. Duration: 4 years.)

International PhD student program: Please follow the application guideline and apply for the PhD Scholarship in time (usually in December). Please also contact the PI before official application. (Entry time: Fall semester. Duration: 4 years.)

MSc Students:

Prospective MSc students can contact the PI regarding the MSc studentship quota after admission. (Entry time: Fall semester. Duration: 2.5 years.)

Undergraduate Students:

PRP program (SJTU students only): We release one PRP project for two undergraduates (Year 2 or 3) each semester. Feel free to visit our office to know more about the project. (Entry time: Fall or Spring semester. Duration: about 6 months part-time.)

Summer research intern (SJTU students only): We release one summer research intern project for one undergraduate (Year 1 only) each year. Feel free to visit our office to know more about the project. (Entry time: Summer semester. Duration: about 2 months full-time.)

Other opportunities: For exceptional students outside SJTU, we offer remote supervision for research intern projects. (Entry time: anytime. Duration: about 6 months part-time.)
